Stephen started with ITS in 2001 as a system administrator assistant assisting with e-journal uploading, and installing and troubleshooting CD titles on the Winframe servers. After a couple years, he gradually moved into the staff workstation support team.

Today, Stephen's work includes:

  • setting up and troubleshooting computer hardware (printers, scanners, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.)
  • installing and troubleshooting a variety of software (Microsoft Office, Sirsi Workflows, POS, email clients, etc.)
  • investigating for library staff how to better use the available computer hardware and software to perform their tasks
  • troubleshooting support on certain Winframe titles
